We never expected such a huge response, and you honestly made our day. We are looking into ways of reintroducing the drawing tool to the website, just in a less obtrusive way.

Although FurID is intended as a joke, the topic that it satirizes is no laughing matter.
Legislators in multiple US states are attempting to force websites like e621 into implementing mandatory age verification for all users. That includes Arizona, where this site is currently hosted. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft.
